![]() ![]() After wandering Maple World, he came across Guwaru, who immediately recognized that his foreign energy meant that he came from another world. Immediately upon arriving in Maple World, Magnus encountered a burning city. Darmoor then ordered Magnus to travel through one of the Interdimensional Portals that had been created through Darmoor stealing and using the powers of Chronica, the Transcendent of Time. Magnus then returned to Darmoor and received treatment for his injuries, which inadvertently resulted in his lifespan being shortened. Magnus fled the scene, but not before he stole Kaiser's legendary sword, Kaiserium. Realizing that there was only one way to stop Magnus, Kaiser sacrificed his life in a fiery explosion that wiped out the Specter army and severely injured Magnus, who was only able to survive through the power that he had received from Darmoor. He engaged Magnus and the Specter army alone in a fierce battle, and though Kaiser managed to cut off one of Magnus' horns and left a scar on his eye, he knew that he would soon succumb to the poison. Though he was dying by the moment, Kaiser attempted to buy time for the survivors of Heliseum to escape to the sanctuary city of Pantheon. ![]() When Kaiser let his guard down, Magnus immediately cut him with his poisoned blade. At the city outskirts, Kaiser encountered Magnus and believed that his old friend had returned from exile to aid Heliseum. Soon after Magnus took the city, Kaiser arrived on the scene, believing that the battle was still going on. During the battle Magnus wiped out the Nova royal family, though, unbeknownst to him, the Nova princess was taken to safety. Having corrupted two of the three Guardians, Magnus led the Specter army to seize Heliseum. The sabotaged experiment resulted in Treglow creating twisted creatures, and in his madness, he declared them his greatest success before offering them to Magnus for his army. Though Treglow was close to finishing the artificial creature, Magnus sabotaged the experiment just before the invasion of Heliseum, which caused a huge explosion and had left Treglow mad with grief. Treglow, who sought to create an artificial creature - a taboo for the Nova - soon developed an amicable relationship with Magnus, who funded his research by obtaining rare materials from other worlds. Magnus also learned that another Guardian, Treglow, was an expert scientist who specialized in chemistry. Now a slave for Magnus, Victor was forced to paint new minions for Magnus' army. Magnus learned that one of the three Guardians, Victor, was an accomplished painter obsessed with finding a magical canvas that could bring anything painted on it to live, with which he hoped to resurrect a dead woman whom he had fallen in love with.Īt Magnus' request, Darmoor found the canvas and cursed it, such that when Victor painted his true love on it, the canvas spat out a doll in her image before trapping Victor's soul inside. In order to take the city, Magnus planned to corrupt the Guardians of Heliseum. Under Darmoor's orders, Magnus was ordered to take the Nova capital city of Heliseum for the High Flora. ![]() ![]() Upon feeling the immense aura of death radiating from Darmoor, Magnus experienced true fear for the first time and pledged loyalty to Darmoor in exchange for receiving the power to become the strongest warrior in Grandis. Soon after, Magnus encountered Gerand Darmoor, the Transcendent of Life. The two fought in many battles together, including one against the Cloud Guardians of the Fox God, though Magnus abandoned Kaiser and left him surrounded by the enemy during this battle.Įventually, Magnus was exiled by the Nova for unknown reasons. Magnus was Nova warrior and a close friend of the Former Kaiser. ![]()
